2018 Women’s Fund Grant Recipient

The Women’s Fund of the Stateline Community Foundation is proud to announce the YWCA Rock County has been awarded a $1,800 grant for their Alternatives to Violence program.

This Grant will contribute to increasing their emergency domestic violence shelter’s capacity from 30 to 52 beds with the purchase of bunk beds and mattresses. Every month they receive an average of 50 phone calls from domestic violence/human trafficking victims looking for a safe escape from their circumstances.

With this expansion project they believe they can assure safety and security to over 200 victims of domestic violence.
