Joseph Weirick Scholarship Fund

Joseph Weirick was born and raised in Beloit and became a successful and respected real estate executive in Milwaukee. The Joseph Weirick Scholarship Fund is intended to assist well-rounded, hard-working young men from Beloit to receive post-high school education whether it is vocational, technical, or a 2 or 4 year college. Ideal candidates for this scholarship will embody the values that Joe believed were important. These values primarily include: setting goals and making meaningful strides toward accomplishing them, commitment to extracurricular activities which demonstrates a strong work ethic, builds character, and leads to meaningful friendships and commitment to Beloit or school community.

Criteria:

Joe Weirick Scholarship

  • A male student athlete
  • Minimum GPA OF 2.3
  • A resident of the City of Beloit
  • Additional essay: Concisely describes how you embody the stated values:
    • Setting goals and making meaningful strides toward accomplishing them
    • Commitment to extracurricular activities which demonstrates a strong work ethic, builds character, and leads to meaningful friendships
