Walter and Ida Foy Scholarship

Ida D. Foy came to Beloit in 1951 and lived here for 44 years. She attended Beloit Public Schools and graduated from Beloit Memorial High School in 1967. She was a member of the School Board from 1989-1995 and became President in 1992. She remained President until her death in 1995. Walter passed away January 9, 2015. It is in her and her husband’s name that this scholarship is given.

Criteria:

• A senior at School District of Beloit
• Has demonstrated good citizenship while at school and in the community
