Stateline Community Foundation and Beloit’s Literacy for Life Initiative will be hosting a family event at the Sky Carp game on Friday, August 26. A portion of all ticket sales will directly support BLFLI, a grassroots organization which promotes early literacy by providing free books and collaboration with local nonprofit partners. To date, over 12,500 books have been distributed to children in our community! Game attendees will receive a free bookmark and can enjoy the literacy graphics throughout the ballpark during the game, and fireworks to conclude the evening!
