Family Respite Care Services receives a Community Impact Grant

Stateline Community Foundation is proud to announce Family Respite Care Services has been awarded a $750 Community Impact Grant. Funds will be used to provide a monthly Night of Respite and Sibshop to families who are raising children with special needs and their siblings.

Family Respite Cares Services is a nonprofit organization serving Rock County, specifically in Beloit and Janesville, with a monthly Friday evening of respite from 6 pm to 9 pm. Parents of children with special needs often struggle with finding adequate respite, preventing them from participating in the simple joys of life, such as going out to dinner, or seeing  a movie at the theater. This monthly Night of Respite and Sibshop will provide an opportunity for loved ones to reconnect and rejuvenate.
