In the spirit of spring and the anticipation of an exciting 2018, we have changed the season for our annual luncheon and we hope that you will join us as we welcome Shannon Kenevan from Voices of Men.

In 2007 four social service agencies in the Fox Valley, Wisconsin area invited a group of men for a “Men’s Summit.” The session addressed domestic violence and sexual assault, two topics often considered to be “women’s issues.”

Ben Atherton-Zeman, a spokesperson for the National Organization for Men Against Sexism, introduced the participants to a new way of thinking about these issues. He discussed a unique prevention program that focused on engaging men and boys in the work of ending violence against women.

Inspired by the presentation, a group of men wanted to do more, and Voices of Men was formed.
