Tim McKearn Scholarship Fund

Tim McKearn Tim was a husband, father, brother, friend, business owner, civic leader, teacher, mentor, and 4^th generation son of Beloit.

Tim was a man who believed in making a difference in the lives of his students, his community, and his many volunteer positions throughout Beloit and Rock County.

This scholarship has been created in Tim’s memory to help a student seeking a college degree.

Criteria:

Be a graduate or graduating senior from a high school located in Beloit
GPA of 2.5 or higher
Active in sports, extracurricular activities, or community service

Graduating high school senior or non-traditional student from any Beloit school
GPA 2.5 or higher
Preference given to applicants with involvement in sports, extracurricular activities, and community service
Full-time enrollment required within any 2 or 4-yr institution
Specific major or financial need is not a requirement
One-time award maximum per recipient
