Northern Illinois Food Bank Receives a Grant for Backpack Program

Stateline Community Foundation is proud to announce the Northern Illinois Food Bank  has been awarded a $2,500 Community Impact Grant for their backpack program.

The funds will be used to provide weekly backpacks of food to 42 children at schools in Roscoe and South Beloit during the 2018-19 school year.

Northern Illinois Food Bank’s child nutrition program provides more than 2 million meals directly to children each year through several programs.
