Featured Speaker: Margaret J. Henningsen
Margaret has a long history in the city’s finance and real estate worlds as well as a broad background in social justice activism. She and her two partners were the first women to charter a commercial bank in the State of Wisconsin. She chaired the board of the Women’s Fund of Greater Milwaukee and was appointed Executive Director in 2011.
She brought the objective of social change to her work in philanthropy. Grants from the fund support women and girls and lead social change initiatives in three key areas: economic empowerment/financial security; education and knowledge of the issues affecting them; and leadership development.
Luncheon is free…. Donations to the Endowment assure sustained growth over time; designated amounts to Grants enable the Women’s Fund to respond annually to current needs.
