Our Foundation gives everyone the opportunity to make significant and lasting gifts to their community.
We manage 200 funds that enhance the Stateline Area. Together with our generous donors, we create a strong culture of philanthropy that positively impacts our community.
We are a tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) public charity founded in 1986 to provide grants and scholarships to organizations and projects that improve the quality of life in the Wisconsin-Illinois Stateline Area.
Mission
Stateline Community Foundation is dedicated to identifying and responding to community needs through strategic partnerships, informed grantmaking, and inspired philanthropy.
The Foundation fulfills its mission by:
- Attracting charitable funds, chiefly in the form of permanent endowments, which are committed to meeting the needs of the people living in the Stateline Area.
- Using those precious resources wisely and efficiently in addressing key concerns of the community, responding to its emerging and changing needs and sustaining its agencies and institutions. In doing so, the foundation serves as steward for the individuals, families, foundations, and organizations which, over the years, have entrusted assets to its care.
- Providing leadership to the community, serving as a convener and catalyst in identifying problems, needs, and opportunities, and shaping effective responses to them.
