The Women’s Fund of the Stateline Community Foundation supports women and girls through initiatives to address emerging needs or gaps in service not provided by traditional funding sources. The research we conduct informs our focus for grants and advocacy. We rely on partnerships or collaborations with service providers and other institutions.
The focus areas of our grants are: Health and Stability-physical, mental and financial health; Safety and Security; Economic Opportunity – access to education, employment, transportation; Leadership – building women leaders to affect policy issues related to gender and racial equity and strategies to end the cycle of poverty.
We seek to inspire, empower and support women and girls in the Beloit and Stateline area regardless of income, background or ethnicity. We welcome programs to reach senior women, heads of households, women in transition, and school age girls.
Applicants may request funds from $250 – $3,500. Please specify the amount of your request in your grant proposal. Grants are awarded annually to be used in the year grant monies are received. Reports on progress are expected during the year. Funds may be reclaimed if projects were not started or fully implemented or grant amounts not spent.
