Michael M. Janke was a 2011 graduate of Beloit Memorial High School and studied computer engineering at UW-Milwaukee and UW-Madison. Technology was his passion but he loved life and lived it fully. Water sports, winter sports, reading, movies, camping, biking, golf, travel, you name it, he embraced it all with zeal.
As an Eagle Scout he learned to lead by example, with confidence and compassion. In his seven years working at Culvers he learned teamwork and patience. Countless hours of community service with numerous organizations endeared him to many. He always gave his all no matter what the activity.
This scholarship was created in his memory to give opportunity to others who share his passion for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
